Joyner Library has some basic first aid supplies available for free to anyone from the Circulation Desk, located in the lobby on the first-floor. Other service desks in the library might also have some basic first aid supplies for the asking.
The library has a wall-mounted menstruation station between the first-floor main hallway restrooms across from the courtyard (available whenever the building is open). There are also baskets in each of the single occupancy restrooms accessible through the Administrative Services suite on the second-floor beyond the art gallery (available only Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
- Anyone may have a few of these supplies from the library's stations.
- These menstruation products are generously provided to the library by the ECU Women and Gender Office (WGO).
The Well-Being Hub and the Purple Pantry, both located in the Main Campus Student Center, also offer free menstruation products and other free hygiene products to ECU students.
If you need to purchase first aid and menstruation supplies, we recommend you visit the Student Health Services pharmacy, which sells a variety of first aid, menstruation, over-the-counter medications, and prescription medications. The ECU Physicians Pharmacy Services locations and other local commercial pharmacies and stores are additional options.
