It is possible to bring your own specialty paper for printing in the library. You will need to adjust the printer settings in the software you are using before you print -- you cannot make these selections after you have sent the document to the printer.

  • Change Paper Tray/Source to bypass tray.
  • Change Paper Type to special, color, thick, etc., as appropriate.
  • If you only want to print on one side of the paper, change Print Type to 1-sided.

While you are supplying the paper, the cost to print will remain the standard costs of $.02 per page side for black ink printing and $.10 per page side for color ink printing.

If you would like assistance, please ask at a service desk. If printing in Joyner Library, the research desk on the first floor and the TRC desk on the second floor can most readily assist you.

ECU students can receive assistance creating resumes and cover letters from Career Services.
