There is currently no option for ECU alumni or other members of the public to access the ECU Libraries' electronic resources remotely. The licenses the Libraries must sign to access these materials restrict such access to only currently enrolled ECU students and ECU employees.

ECU alumni may certainly visit the ECU Libraries to browse the physical collections, pay for an annual Area Resident membership to be able to borrow physical items from the Libraries, use your own computer in the library to access electronic resources using our WiFi, or use some of the Libraries' computers on-site to access electronic resources.

If using the Libraries' resources on-site is not an option, we recommend contacting your local public library or another college or university library near where you live. If you are a North Carolina resident, your local public library can give you with a free password to NCLive, which provides access to some of the same electronic resources we provide at ECU. If you live outside North Carolina, check with your local public library to see if your state offers electronic resources to its residents.
