At Joyner Library, many of the library's newly acquired books and the Popular Reading Collection are located near the Circulation desk in the Laliotes Reading Room. This area also includes various book/DVD displays highlighting the library's other collections, including new titles in the Ronnie Barnes African-American Collection, and rotating monthly themed displays. Any of these titles may be checked out at the Circulation desk. The North Carolina Collection on the third floor and the Teaching Resources Center on the second floor also have displays of newly purchased materials or other featured titles.
At Laupus Health Sciences Library the Popular Reading Collection is located in the soft seating area on the main floor. All books may be checked out at the Service Desk.
