You may ask to checkout items on Course Reserve from the Circulation desk at Joyner Library, the Music Library, or Laupus Health Sciences Library, depending on which library an instructor has placed the items.
When you ask at the desk, please know your instructor's name, the course number, and the item's title. If you are missing any of that information, please check your syllabus, or search the library catalog. For Joyner library, you may search the course reserves list directly. For assistance, ask at any library service desk.
To checkout a Course Reserve item, you will need to present your ECU OneCard at the Circulation desk.
Course Reserve loan periods vary, so make sure you know when the item is due back to the Circulation desk. Some Course Reserve titles are for in-library use only. Holds and renewals are not permitted for Course Reserve items. Since Course Reserve items are in high demand, overdue fines are higher than for other library materials: $1.00 per hour or $1.00 per day, depending on the item's loan period, up to a fine of $10.00 before the item is billed as lost.
