Non-Region 1 DVDs on Personal Computers

If you would like to play a non-region 1 DVD on a personal computer that can play DVDs, you might be able to do so or you might have to change settings to do so. Note that changing these settings can usually only be done five times: please read the Wikipedia overview and consult instructions for Microsoft Windows 7, 8, and 10, Windows 11, and for Apple Macs. Please do not change the settings on ECU Library computers or drives without speaking to ECU IT personnel first.
