Joyner Library
Joyner Library circulates both Mac and Windows laptops. One day loan laptops are available from the laptop kiosks in the library lobby. One week loan laptops are available from the Circulation service desk. Holds may be placed on one week loan laptops in the catalog using the Place Hold option. Laptops may not be renewed remotely online or by phone, email, or chat.
Laptops may only be loaned to currently enrolled ECU students since laptops are paid for by student technology fee funds.

Music Library
The Music Library, located in A. J. Fletcher Music Center, circulates a few Mac and Windows laptops for one-week loan periods from its service desk. Holds may be placed on these laptops in the catalog using the Place Hold option. Laptops may not be renewed remotely online or by phone, email, or chat.

Laupus Library
At Laupus Library, equipment may be loaned to ECU faculty, staff, and students presenting a valid ECU 1 Card.
Laptops are loaned for either 24 hours or 7 days, and are due back to the Laupus Library Service Desk before closing on the due date for 7 day loans and before 24 hours has passed for the 24 hour loans. A $5 per day fee will be charged for overdue 7 day loans and a $5 per hour fee will be charged for 24 hour loans. The laptop loan will include a laptop, power cord, and carrying bag.
Equipment loans are on a first come first serve basis. Laptops may be renewed one time, either in person or over the phone and must be returned with everything they checked out with. For availability, visit the Laupus Library's equipment webpage.
Equipment must be returned to the Laupus Library Service Desk and should never be placed in a book drop for return. No equipment will circulate until it has been inspected and approved by library staff.
