The ECU Libraries are pleased to offer the delivery of library materials to faculty and staff who are on-campus. Requested items will be delivered to departmental offices by hand or by campus mail. Delivery time will usually be within a few weekdays, depending on delivery method, staff availability, and item location.

Requests may be placed through the Libraries’ Classic Catalog using the Place Hold option. Step by step instructions with screenshots are available in PDF format.

Additional details about the service are available on the Place Hold & Faculty/Staff Departmental Office Delivery information webpage. If you need help using the Classic Catalog or have questions about this service, please Ask a Librarian.

Please ensure that the Libraries have your correct on-campus address information, including Mail Stop number. We have provided instructions for how to update your address

While the Libraries are pleased to offer a delivery service, we are not currently able to provide a return pickup service. Please return materials to any of the ECU Libraries or to one of our book drops on campus.

Faculty and staff located on the health sciences campus may continue to use Laupus Library’s document delivery service through ILLiad for campus delivery. For details and assistance, contact Laupus’ Interlibrary Loan office.
